Calvary Chapel Cheonan

Our Sunday Worship Service is at 11am on 2nd floor. We are a small fellowship of believers. We not only worship together, we also fellowship together. Some of us are foreigners living in South Korea and some are local Koreans. Come as you are. Our worship music is upbeat contemporary Christian music and hymns along with guitar. At Calvary Chapel Cheonan the sermon is more like a lesson or teaching. We study the bible verse by verse and chapter by chapter. It is a teaching that comes simply from the Word of God, as we apply His unchanging truth verse by verse study of the Bible so that the body recieves the whole counsel of God's Word. You don't have to know anything when you come in. You don't even have to bring a bible, we'll loan you one and help you find the book we are studying. As we study together, most find that they begin to understand the bible as never before. We are informal but take our faith seriously. We hope you will come on in and find a warm and friendly place to worship God and learn more of His incredible love and grace. We hope to be a blessing to you.

It's just passed Dujeong station on bus 1. You can walk from dujeong station or take buses 110,100,102,140,141,142,143,150,151,and 152. get off at busung-dong community center. It's held in the Cheonan Central Presbyterian Church. The church there is huge with a fifty foot cross so its hard to miss. Service starts at 12:30 on sunday.

The congregation serves primarilly foreign workers from Russia, India, Pakhistan, the Philippines, and Indonesia. Every day we help solve issues such as dealing with difficult employers and health and welfare problems.

Galilee Methodist Church

This is a large church with an awesome choir and 5000 members in the congregation. English translation of the service is provided at the 11:00 a.m. worship on Sundays and at 7:30 p.m. evening worship Sundays/Wednesdays.

There is also an active Children's English Sunday School at 2 p.m. on Sundays.

English Worship: 10:30 a.m. Everyone is welcome. We have people from 10 different countries and 4 different continents. Two things bind us together. We are all seeking God and we all speak English.

We have a wonderful worship team and a growing congregation for foreigners and Koreans.

Oryong-dong Catholic Church

Mass is at 2:00pm and is 60-75 minutes. The congregation is mostly Filipino migrant workers but also a few Nepalese, Indian, French, Korean Uzbeki and Americans attend. Activities and Ministries such as Korean classes, sight seeing trip and visits to retirement homes are planned by a central migrant workers' association (MOYSE.)

Location:Behind the old Cheonan City Hall. Go to the right and a block behind the City Hall.(maybe 3~4 blocks from the train station.)

Directions: easiest way is by taxi, just say 'Cheonan shi-cheong'(Cheonan City Hall) then walk along the street to the right of the city hall and you will see the signs and courtyard of the Church.
